The Twins  - World Trade Center - 1982

It was a quiet, overcast Sunday morning in New York City, with the sun trying to break through the clouds and a soft light beginning to blanket the city. I decided it would be the perfect time to head down to Wall Street and see what I could capture. I ended up getting off the subway at the World Trade Center stop. When I emerged, there they were—the city’s majestic TWINS. Bathed in the soft morning light, they shimmered before me. I was in awe of their grandeur. Standing like two gentle giants, they seemed to watch over the city below, almost as if they were saying, “You may photograph us.”

Let us remember all those who tragically lost their lives and all those whose bravery saved so many others on September 11, 2001.
